Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 12, 2026

This policy explains how the apps published by Sukhwan Uh under the name SH Private (“we”, “us”) and this website (shprivate.com) handle your information. It applies to every SH Private app. Details that are specific to one app are listed in that app’s section below.

1. Summary

2. Information we collect

None. We do not operate servers that receive data from our apps, and we have no way to see what you do in them.

3. Information our apps access on your device

Some features need access to data on your device, such as your calendar or your location. Our apps ask for each permission through the standard system prompt, use the data only to provide the feature described, and process it on your device. Every permission is optional. You can grant or revoke it at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security, and the rest of the app keeps working.

4. Third-party services

Our apps use only services provided by Apple. When an app uses one, the information needed for that request is sent to Apple and handled under the Apple Privacy Policy. The requests each app makes are listed in its section below.

5. SH Widgets

SH Widgets shows information on your Home Screen. To do that, it reads the following data with your permission.

DataWhy it is usedWhere it goes
Calendar To show your events in the calendar dashboard and monthly calendar widgets. Read on your device. Not transmitted.
Reminders To show your reminders in widgets and to mark a reminder as completed when you tap it. Read and updated on your device. Not transmitted.
Health (step count) To show today’s step count in the clock widget. Read-only. The app never writes health data. The latest value is kept on your device so the widget can display it. Not transmitted.
Location To show the weather where you are. Your location is sent to Apple’s weather service (WeatherKit) to retrieve the forecast. The most recent location is kept on your device so widgets can refresh.
Photos you choose To use a picture as a custom icon. Only the pictures you select in the system photo picker are used. The app cannot see the rest of your library. A small copy is stored on your device.
Settings and links To remember how you set up each widget, including web links you enter. Stored on your device. Not transmitted.

Health data is never used for advertising or marketing and is never shared with anyone.

When you set up an app shortcut, SH Widgets may download that app’s icon from Apple’s public App Store lookup service. The request contains the app’s identifier and your device’s region setting, and nothing that identifies you.

Weather data is provided by Apple Weather. See its data sources.

6. Retention and deletion

Everything our apps store is kept on your device. Deleting an app removes all of its data. To stop an app from accessing a type of data, turn off the permission in Settings > Privacy & Security.

Like other app data, what an app stores on your device may be included in the device backups you have turned on with Apple. Those backups are managed by you and Apple, not by us.

7. Children

Our apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

8. This website

This website does not use cookies, analytics, or advertising. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and protect the site, under the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

If you email us, we use your email address and the contents of your message only to reply to you. You can ask us to delete that correspondence at any time.

9. Your rights

Because we do not hold personal information about you from our apps, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete. If you have any question about your privacy, or a request regarding an email you sent us, contact us at the address below.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes, such as a new app or a new type of data, will be described here before they take effect.
